At this time, the Oakland Independent is a print-only publication. It is mailed out each Wednesday. We print weekly, with the exception of the weeks of Christmas and New Year's Day.

Subscriptions are for one year.

Online payments can be used for new subscriptions, renewals and even gift subscriptions. (If it's a gift, please email us at oaklandindependentnews@gmail.com to let us know where to send it).
